Sphere Energy Solutions are a family run business established in 2010. All of our current staff served their apprenticeships with Sphere Energy Solutions. We believe that training our electricians from the ground up is the only way to ensure not only highly skilled and knowledgeable electricians competent in the latest electrical standards, but they also know what it means to wear the Sphere badge. Implementation

We will arrive on site and start the roof works, this includes fitting roof hooks, rails, panels and DC cabling. Once the roof works are completed we will begin the internal electrical works which include the AC wiring, Inverter, Batteries, isolators and generation meters.

Over the years, the way that electricians wire a home has changed as electrical safety standards have evolved and improved. By today’s standards, many homes may be seen as being wired unsafely or poorly. Not only will a home with antiquated wiring be at a higher risk of experiencing an electrical malfunction, which could cause a fire or electric shock to a member of the household, but it will be more likely to experience frustrating issues like fuses that trip regularly. Domestic cables have a limited lifespan on average around 30 years depending on the type of circuit.

Home Battery Storage

Our home battery storage solutions from Tesla Powerwall, LG Chem, Grow Watt, Pylon Tech and more. The home batteries can be retro fitted to existing solar PV systems or seamlessly incorporated into a new PV installation. Home batteries will charge up during the day storing the power of the sun to be used when needed later in the evenings. Some systems can even charge up from the grid at night taking advantage of low energy prices offered by some electricity providers on their flexi tariffs. Some systems also offer UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) so even during a power cut you can continue to use your stored electricity without the lights going out.

Solar PV

There has never been a better time to invest in a Solar PV system. Modern systems can save you a significant amount of money on your electricity bill and excess electricity can be sold back to the grid under the export tariff. A well installed 4Kw PV system should generate around 3600 Kwh per year and prices start from as low as £3000 fully installed. Smaller systems can start from as low as a few hundred pounds.

Electric Vehicle Charging Points

As the EV market rapidly grows across the UK it wont be long before petrol and diesel cars are obsolete. Fossil fuels are running out so like it or not electric vehicles are the future. The government are offering an OLEV grant for people installing EV charge points, Sphere Energy Solutions are OLEV approved installers and can help you with your claim to offset the costs of getting an EV charge point installed. The installation process usually takes around a two hours depending on the distance from your distribution board.
